d::gen network limited (”d::gen”) engages with a broad range of projects. These often involve creative and technical consultancy, design, live video production, audio production, webcasting, production management or technical/software development.

Sometimes they don’t involve any of them.

We only choose to work on projects we really love.

We feed a lot of freelance genii – which is encouraged (freelance, genius, and feeding).

We are always on the look out for;

1) “Front-end” Software Developers.

You need to know your php, mySql, css and 2.0 web stuff. You must be experienced in the way of the metadata and structured code, be self-motivated, and committed to developing within a GPL environment.

You will be responsible for;

1. Development, implementation, testing and maintenance of projects
2. Integration with 3rd party systems

You will need;

1. Strong practical technical ability in Debian, php and mySql
2. Self-motivation
3. Ability to remain calm under pressure, and rationalise the tasks at hand
4. Fantastic communication skills
5. Excellent time-management skills

2) Project Managers.

You need to know your technical (to manage the above), be methodical and detailed, and an outstanding communicator. Project Management and Account Management at d::gen are the same thing.

3) Systems Administrators.

You need to know your Linux, your mySql optimisation, and dream about resilience and scalability.

d::gen is a unique company and you will work on a very diverse set of great projects, some of which you won’t know about until you’ve joined.
