First working day starts at 7am with our now usual feast of wonderful food, then it's off to the site for some real graft. The earth is very hard, and it takes us ages to dig anything significant. Fortunately the weather is cloudy and cool, if it had been like yesterday we would have all died of heat exhaustion. Carrying the buckets of earth is an interesting balancing experience and I'm quite sure my shoulders will complain tomorrow morning. After lunch we only do a couple more hours of digging, then are off for the day. A few of us head off to find some caves, but find a restaurant instead, so drink tea and sing karaoke.
