Combining a broad 'organic' aesthetic with contemporary electronic soundscapes since 1988.

Gavin has been exploring Astronomy and Music since the 80s. Performances of his music have spanned 5 continents including the Antarctic, Hong Kong, Canada, Australia, UK, Spain, France, Denmark, Germany, Latvia and Switzerland.

He holds a BSc in Astronomy and a Masters degree in Computer-Music. He worked at the Jodrell Bank Radio Observatory in Radio Astrophysics, and created new courses in Electronic Music at Glasgow University. He has contributed to the Acoustic Space Lab network in Latvia, Makrolab, AmbientTV and Nesta/PAL workshops, providing links between technology, science and the arts.

He is currently developing an Acoustic Cosmology.
